Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I'm not new to the photography world. I have used point and shooters a lot, however I want more control of my camera. So I finally got a SLR a Minolta X-700. I have used it in P mode only. I'm still learning the ins and outs of this camera. I hope I can learn more. I hope this forum will help with all my needs. I hope to be here for a long long time.

Welcome to TPF. I also started off on the X-700....many moons ago, and it is a very good camera to learn on.
The biggest thing I can recommend with film is to keep a diary/log of settings used when shooting. It sounds like a pain, but with digital, you can see your results (mistakes) right away, and can experiment with settings to see what happens, essentially getting instant feedback. With film, it is very difficult to remember what you did and how you had your camera set when you get the pictures back at a later time.

Welcome aboard.
