SO Im relatively new at photography. I enjoy outdoor photography but I want to venture into studio photography.

I have NO idea on a lighting system to get or use. I was looking here at this one:

CowboyStudio Photography Lighting | Studio Equipment | Studio Accessories

Any ideas, hints, tips, tricks?

I mainly want to shoot my kids on a white back ground. I have a small room to set up just no idea what to after that.

I have a canon rebel xti, canon 580 speedlite flash, 85mm 1.8 lens.... please help!

The CowboyStudio gear is low quality stuff, but that's why it's so cheap.

How big is the room you'll be setting it all up in and how old are your kids?

Before spending any money on gear, I'd suggest spending a few days or weeks reading The Strobist. It's a fantastic resource for off-camera lighting.
