New to the forum from sunny California

Hey guys! Just thought I'd drop a line and say hello. Just joined the forum this morning and I'm excited to talk shop and ask questions.

Been shooting for over 10 years and I'm just starting to take the long journey to doing this for a living. Not interested in commercial work or portraiture. I just want to shoot the projects that are interesting to me and put it up for people to see. Not much in the way of goals, huh? Well, I like to keep life open-ended and stay nimble.

I've already put together a book of photographs called, a day at the painter's house that you should check out and I also run a blog called, The Long Road :: my journey as a photographer, where I am documenting -- thru images and words -- my experiences in moving my photography from a hobby to something I can call a living.
