I'd love to have photos of my next garden weeding. Or me getting weeded, if you catch my drift.

Hi Tyler, it's funny that you posted this because my friend asked me to shoot his weeding. I told him that I am no pro and don't have any equipment or knowledge but he still wanted me to shoot his weeding... And obviously I couldn't say no, because I'm a good friend. And they wanted to save money on there weeding so they figured they'd just pay me.

You look like you know all about weeding so I'm hoping you could answer a few questions:
How much should I charge him for the weeding?
What lenses do I need to properly capture the action?
Will my rebel xs and 18-55mm be adequate to cover all the shots of the side and broom?

I would charge approximately $7000 USD for the images of the weeding. The broom will be long and slender, so the wide end of your 18-55mm pro-grade optics should suffice. The Side is a bit more challenging, as it is not tangible, but the 65mm MP-E would be a good choice. You will need to shoot at ISO Six Billion, so the rebel will handle that like the Zeus of photography.

Make sure to capture the grittyness of the weeeding though, that is quite important.
