I have bumped into http://www.competico.com - they seem to run photography competitions, you might want to check it out - could be a nice place to show off ;-)

Photo contests make me very very nervous!!!

The first thing I noticed about the page is that "$400+ up for grabs" and second.. way too many snap shots of random babies and kittens.
