Nikon and MF

In a conversation the other day I mentioned that I had never heard on Nikon venturing into MF. Has anyone ever heard that Nikon DID try MF?:er:

I believe they may have produced a prototype TLR MF camera. Some Nikon lenses used to fit some MF cameras, but to my knowledge Nikon never went into production on any MF camera as they were busy playing the usual Japanese trick of conquering any retail market they enter! Obviously 35mm was going to win that round as the number of people potentially buying one was huge.
