Nikon coolpix 4300?

I am just starting in photography but I have not been using a camera of my own. Now I am going to buy one! I was thinking of the Nikon Coolpix 4300 because it is 4 megapixles, 3x optical zoom, it has the ability to put other lenses on, and it won't break the bank. What does everyone think?

I got the 885 coolpix which is the old version and 3.3 megapixels, this 4300 is price - quality a very good cam, was very cheap by the way in singapore when i was there..... i should say go for it !!!!!! :thumbsup: i took 8000 pics with my 885 and i still love it, put it in my pocket when i am on the road......

This is one of the cameras that I have narrowed my next purchase down to.
Compared to the other cameras that it up against in the same price range, it seems to be outrank them on a fair amount of features.
