Old water mill 2

It looks like a very neat place and I bet there's a LOT you can take pictures of there, but this particualr shot is very busy and I don't really know what to look at, so I don't think it quite works as you have it.

Interesting perspective though I think it is mis-named as I do not see an easily identifiable "mill," but rather a rapidly moving watercourse. I found the left side of the frame to be overly cluttered with "non-informational" pieces and parts. They may mean something to you and may be the "mill," I seek but for me, for now they tend to clutter up the framing.

Need to know if you are making a darkroom print or just scanning the negative? Either or, the top center building needs to be burned in a smidgeon an the white space to the left of the top left building needs to be filled in with something..I chose bricks. I did do some dodging and burning and some gradient fills to 1. darken the top a bit, 2. remove the clutter, and 3. hold the water in check at the bottom of the frame rather than allow it to just run out of the picture and 4. to narrow down a viewer's focal point.

Like I've said in several other edits: opinions are like other body parts. We all have one and some are sweeter than others...take from, use a little of this and that, or ignore. No feeling hurt.

Translation makes the top middle building a bit darker than on my monitor...sorry.

I have to replicate what Manaheim stated. While Ceeboy's edit is a huge improvement, this still makes my eyes hurt.

I agree with the others.. way too busy. Incoherent, even! CeeBoy's crop did wonders for it... but the image could be improved by shooting it differently, I am sure!

Thats was a lot of great comments, many thanks you all!

This is like everything in photography a question of tast and I really appreciat all the effort ceeboy14 have done on the edit.
But this looks very edited for me and a bit to dark.
This can also be a part of my monitor ofcourse and I have monitor with a better panel then a stadard TN but its not calibrated.
I think a picture in many cases fails when it looks or feels edited and most of my edit time is spent on not to make it look edited but still not flat, if that makes any sense :)

The crop work well but I liked the left part of the image becouse the giant pipe with snow points into were the water comes from etc.

I usually never name my pictures and picked old water mill 2 becouse this is my second picture from this place which is a old mill.
