I don't live in a city with huge tall skyscrapers but even in a small town or city here in Vermont, there are ways to get some sort of a city architecture type shot.

Looks way darker on the forum and on Flickr than it does in Lightroom. I'll make some adjustments and reupload it and I'll post a direct photo below (just in case the embedding is being funky).

Hopefully this is a little better.

I feel like it's ever so slightly off center. With this type of symmetrical shot it's throwing off my eye.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Nothing I can do unfortunately. I tried and tried and tried to get it perfect. I'm not sure if the building was even perfect, or I simply suck.

I might just delete it honestly...
 
The problem is that the left of the building goes down at an angle because it's on a corner of a steep hill.

I mean, I'll try to mess around with the transform tool. Not sure if that will do anything.
