One day in Salt Lake City

First let me say I am not sure if this the right place to post this. I originally posted this in General discussion with out any response. That being said...I am going be traveling on business and will have 1 free day in Salt Lake city. I have rented car so I can get around. Does anyone have some "don't miss' photo op suggestions.

I lived in Sydney so I wouldn't have a clue... if it's salt LAKE city, shouldn't you rent a boat not a car?
