i had to do quite a bit of processing to realistically brighten the eyes

Recyle bin, sorry. It's under exposed yet the highlights are blown, the processing isn't working either, there is just no saving this one IMO.

i think it looks under exposed from the vignetting i added

Too much vignetting and the underexposure robbed the lowlight details.

yeah... i was just so disappointed when i got home that day

i mean not a single "good" shot

all of the animals were inside escaping the heat, but were too far away to use the flash, even holding off of the camera

plus the lighting in all of the internal exhibits is just horrible i couldn't get my 50mm 1.4 to focus on anything in the reptile exhibit and i had to hold the flash, so i couldn't manual focus

now i suppose on this one i could have taken the polarizer off

overall just too short and frustrating of a trip
