I've only been serious about learning photography for a few months, but I already look back at this one and don't like it. A family member wanted me to capture this in the spring for them when we were out on a walk...

I had shot film for years but had been using PS cameras since early 2000. I got a boxing day deal on a Canon XS in December 2008 and fell in love again with the process of control and lack of shutter lag. This is one of my first shots (that I was "OMG" over) taken at my brother's house. Still not bad in my mind because I like the way it captures the warmth. My sister-in-law always goes over the top with her decorating, which helped with the setting.
