I'd probably use a wider aperture. The foreground is a little soft, the bus in the background is a little distracting. Also, the highlights are a little blown and the colors are a bit too saturated. Did you use the on-camera flash? There are white highlights on his nose and cheek.
Two main problems. The background is too busy with visually distracting shapes and colours. The usual approach is to use a plain background, a focal length of about 70 to 85mm and f.2.8 approx. to blur the background as much as possible.
The second problem is the washed-out skin showing up as white on his face as well as the washed out white area which should be yellow on his shirt. That is an exposure problem.
