p&s recommendation?

[nyamy]

we're looking for a new 'family camera', meaning, a p&s that we can toss in the diaperbag when we head off to the park or in my bag when I chaperone class trips. so, looking for something relatively small and light (compared to my dslr), decent quality for our budget (around $300)
any recommendations?
thanks

Canon S95. (expand your budget another 100, it is worth it.)

Well this is water resistant, drop proof etc. and may handle the leaking bottle in a diaper bag.

Nikon Coolpix L120. $279 at your local Best Buy. Great camera, it's what I use when I pretend to be a photographer. Lol ( I don't have a dslr)
