My Wife doesn't like this mask and says this shot should go in my Dark Side gallery. Figured I might as well get my money's worth out of it now. Hmmm...$3 doesn't go far does it

i like it. i'm drawn to the eyes, and it makes me wonder who the guy is underneath and what he could possibly look like. mystery is good.

I like it a lot! (I keep saying that on your threads...). Maybe the part between chin and elbow is too dark, but I love how you created tension in this pic by the contrasting human flesh and the mask that has no human emotion/expression.

Good "self"-portrait! I think masks are creepy and I tend to agree with your wife that the picture seems dark-sided. But then again there's the open look to compete with that impression. That creates some tension, which I love. Excellent lighting, too!

Great composition, shocking image and good b&w. I like the picture a lot! although I do not like the mask itself. I would have prefer a different kind of mask, just because I do not like these white masks...

Btw, the focus is just perfect. Considering that this is a portrait.... wow!

(Where you in front of the camera or in front of a mirrow? just curious :blushing: )
