Panasonic Lumix fz1000 vs Lumix DMC-G7 with 14-140 mm lens

Hi,

I am planning to buy a camera for normal usage like travel photos (and occasional vidoes but primarily for photos) etc which includes portraits, scenery, city-scape, night/party photography. I was wondering if I should go for FZ1000 or the mirrorless DMC-G7 with 14-140 mm lens.

The fz1000 has ultimate flexibility and ease of use.

The g7 should ultimately be a better imager, but it's an all in one lens that may limit it's potential.

Are you the type of shooter who wants to add lenses later or keep it simple?

Both are likely very good, but the fz1000 does more out of the box, if traveling this would be my choice

Jaomul, thanks for the reply. Do you think the 14-140 lens on G7 would be as versatile as the the FZ1000 fixed lens (obviously apart from the 6x zoom difference which is manageable).
