I have Mac dont worry! none of that Windows ****e The program i used was on a windows so cant get it on this unless i buy it again but just looking at other options atm

Yah i like iPhoto its definitely handy but you cant "edit" as you will know just touch etc.
How good is aperture? compared to photoshop etc?

Aperture doesn't compare with Photoshop it compares with Lightroom. Aperture is a RAW file processor and database with limited editing capabilities. For example the ability to edit a photo in layers is one of Photoshop's most essential and valuable features -- Aperture can't do that.
