Photo expo - model shoot

I attended a photo expo this weekend and one of the sessions was hand's on shooting with models. I had a great time shooting and got a few images from it. I wanted to share a couple for you. (Note: these are available lighting with no fill. Edited in LR4 and PSE11)

I love the lighting in these Ron; she looks great, BUT what I'm not so fond of is the strong diagonal lines in each which I find are pulling my eye away from the subject.

For me, 120 and 122 are somewhat stronger compositionally because the vertical pipe image left helps to curb the eye and frame the subject.

Color and processing does look pleasing. The location is somewhat busy though, but I DO LIKE the way you've processed these. I LIKE the skin tones; looked at in the Original size on Flickr, the noise looks like a fine-grained color negative film.

In the first one, I feel like she is falling. The pose seems awkward to me from your viewpoint. Exposure and processing look great to me.

I can understand your view. She was laying back on her elbow and I cropped too tight and didn't straighten it.

They look pretty good on-screen. I would probably sharpen MORE for inkjet printing though.

I love the processing on them but I'm not feeling all the lines like others. I think more separation of background would have been the way to go if you were confined to this location.
