Photo gear on plane...

I heard you can take two carry on bags, one with gear and one with ur stuff. is that true? Probobly going to canada on the 16th so I need to know

Depends mostly on the airline you are flying with. Typically, you are allowed one carry-on bag and one personal bag...so ya, two bags. When I travel, I try to pack everything into one or two bags that are small enough to carry on, that way I don't have my luggage lost and I don't have to wait at the baggage claim either.

Call or check the website of the carrier with whom you will be flying. Rules vary by airline. With Air Canada, you are entitled to bring two pieces of checked luggage, each weighing less than 50lbs ($75 over-weight charge) and one carry-on bag, 'though I almost always have two (computer case and back-pack) and have never had a problem.

yea but I mean two carry on bags cuz I don't want to check in my photo gear so it doesn't get damaged. and one regular. Ill probably be flying with American Airlines or Delta.

as said before...depends on the airline

i recently flew from manchester nh to atl intl and all i took was a garment bag, and my photo backpack...got both on the plane...never had to open either.

easy peasy

When I flew recently I had my purse, my carry-on suitcase, AND my camera bag. However, to get away with it, I basically tied my camera bag and purse together. haha.

A good one is to wear a something with big pockets...a photo vest would be good. That way, if your carry-on is too heavy or too big...just take some things out and put them 'on your person'.

Great! It's not to be missed if you've never seen it and are in the area. Hopefully you'll get to see it at night too when it's all lit up, and there will probably still be lots of snow and ice at the base of both the Horseshoe (Canadian) and the American falls...makes for pretty dramatic pics.

if you want (can?) you can come also . I might go with my cousin that I didn't see for 14 years lol. I saw him when he was 3 and now hes 16. I'm going to feel like an awkward "american" lol.

In my past life working in Toronto, we would have visitors from other countries & it was obligatory to take them to see Niagara falls.

Did you know you can go into a tunnel & view the falls from behind & watch the water cascading down in front of you?
