Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I would like to start getting people shots, candid, but are their privacy laws against that or what?
do i have to get permission for my subject or what.
basically what are the ethics on candid street photography

You can legally photograph people as long as they're in a public place.

But it doesn't stop drug dealers from mugging you, people calling you a pervert and the police harassing you with a full body searches. :meh:

In public you can shoot people and they can do nothing about it. i believe in America you need a release form to sell photos with people in. and i've heard about a 1/3 rule*. I don't know how much these are true as I don't study law. i do know however if the person's in public there's nothing they can do legally unless they can get you for harrasment but it's unlikely.

*If the person/subject is less than a 3rd of the picture i.e. 4 people or more then nothing can be done. Again I don't know if this is true.
