photography in italy

i'm going to italy next semester

i've heard that the infrastructure for photography is awesome in Rome, anybody know anything about this? great developing places?
all i have is a digital now, but maybe I should consider getting the chemical kind for italy

i'm psyched cos i'm going to florence for my honeymoon and just bought a d70 and 50mm f1.8 lense. going to take many pictures there.
