Photography presents - what did you get?

I got a portable Light studio..... Interesting setup that I'm sure I can make some good use out of for smaller objects and whatsuch, and a couple of books from the dreaded Bryan Peterson that I can't wait to read.

I also got a year's subscription to Professional Photographer Magazine from the kiddos.

I bought myself a new computer and a 24" monitor and Adobe Elements 9 as well...... But I said it was for the SO's kids........ Does that make me a bad person?




My best present wasn't photography related....
I got engaged to a wonderful woman with two great kids who can somehow put up with my ****.

Got my first dslr =] Canon T1i with the 18-55mm kit lens. It's alittle overwhelming really. Even though i've been doing so much research over the past 6 months learning as much as I possibly can...it's alot different when you've actually got the camera in your hands. I love it but it's gonna take some time getting used to. The manual and I are gonna get to know each other real well.
