I have others in a portrait orientation, but I like her expression best in this one shot I took in landscape. So my question to you fine individuals is simple. Which do you prefer, the original horizontal photo, or one cropped to portrait orientation?

And also, do you all think that having a landscape oriented portrait in a portfolio is an ok thing?:er:

I'd really value your opinions, thanks. :)

We talked about portrait vs. landscape in another thread. My feelings are that landscape can work, but it usually requires a overriding specific reason for it. In this case, the portrait orientation works much better for me. The image becomes much more about her, and less about the background. Even though the flowers are nice, they do seem "extra".

I agree with Marc.. The closer image of her sets your focus to her directly.. In the first one I browse around the entire photo looking at the flowers and trying to see what else may be there.. The second one there is no room to do that.
