What's new

Please check out my first shoot!

When I click the URL I'm prompted to add you as a friend, I see no pictures.

I'll be nice tell you before someone else bashes you. Most people won't click on links, especially leading to facebook. Select a few that you like and upload to either flickr, or another image hosting website to display direct photos in this topic. Cheers!

CC. They all look soft for the most part

Sorry. Like most here, I was taught not to click on a link from an unknown source, because of malware.

Post a couple of photos, if you want a lot of people to look.

Wait a minute.

Facebook photo business :meh:

oh shoot! Sorry!! I tryed uploading directly on here, but couldn't figure it out! I'll go the flikr route! My apologies! But i promise it's my personal facebook page with a open alblum.. no malware!

You'll get many more responses if you pick just a few of your favorites and post them directly in the thread. Most people don't want to click links and/or browse through more than a few pictures, and no one's going to take the time to critique all of those individually.

Overall though, my honest opinion is that most of them are out of focus with cropped-off limbs, and I think the saturation is cranked a little high. The one where she's sitting on the wooden steps is the best of the bunch to me, and it could stand to have the white balance warmed up.

It's the disappearing OP trick..

I won't venture to click on the link, but as I can't see them here, I will just put forth my opinion that sight unseen, your photos probably suck. I will change my view once you post a couple here that we can view. Unless they truly suck. Nothing personal, but why join a photo site and then post your photos elsewhere?

You're a nice person.

Why join a photo site to get visits to your Facebook page? I have a Facebook page and have never linked to it here.

Against my instincts, I checked out the link. The subject is cute. The photos are a little soft. Some work in PP could have softened the shadows in a couple. There is work to be done on composition, but as she said, first try. Not bad and there is potential if she cares to learn and does not go the "oh, I meant to do that route."

I'm pretty sure she just meant it as a way of hosting the photos. Like linking to a Flickr account.

@ Huskermom
By the way most of the photos are underexposed, have harsh lighting, and are soft. The series against the brick wall had the most potential.

Was thrown by my horse yesterday and dislocated my shoulder (again!). My daughter popped it back in (again!). It is sore and I have been in an inconsolably surly mood today.

@Huskermom

Sorry about my gruff demeanor.

Heya. Great starting point, children are lovely to work with. Technically I am newbie myself but I will say your photos look a little out of focus and a bit under exposed. I am sure some of the more experienced crowd on here will offer better advice though :)
