Actually most of the people around here are. A few hard-cases, true, but all-in-all a very good bunch of people to be associated with.

Actually, he said that they, and by extension, you, were not AS a-hole-ish. It's possible that you were a *complete* a-hole at the time, but now, you're only an 89% a-hole.
Evidently, the period when TPF started becoming a "kinder, gentler" forum was right about the time *I* joined...hmm...coincidence? I think not.

(Disclaimer: I do not think Traveler is a complete a-hole, or even an 89% a-hole...I wouldn't label him any higher than 50%... )

Technically, that's true. On the other hand, it's not really a flounce thread if you don't actually leave.

I have grown as a photographer and more importantly as a person after joining photoforum...I have got some harsh comments but I was never offended...you see..even if you get some pretty nasty responses,no one means to offend you(atleast 99% of them),it is for your own good,so that you can progress as a photographer....my advice..stick around for atleast 1 more month and see if you can learn to handle criticism in good taste or atleast grow a thick skin..if not,then it's up to you...

I sincerely appreciate everyone that posted kind words, suggestions and supported this noob, including those of you that sent PM's to me! You folks have a heart to teach and while being self conscious because I'm still learning, many of you embrace that and gladly assist at a moments notice. I thank you for your contributions and look forward to your future advice, suggestions and help.
