Please help! Bruise-like spot in my LCD display on my digital camera....

Ok so while I shooting at the beach with my Olympus Fe, I noticed a faint black almost bruise like spot on my lcd display. When I review the pictures on my camera, the spot only seem to show up on on images taken after the spot showed up, not previously, it's faint so I could be wrong. But when I upload the pictures the spot is not there at all (thank GOD!)

I'm not too devasted because I'm getting bridge camera for christmas, but I really need this to camera to work until then for school. Is the spot going to get worse?

It sounds to me like a pressure bruise; that is, you accidentally pressed something against the screen a little too hard. Often they will "heal" over time, they rarely get worse.
