Weldy, in the meantime, get the book "the photographers eye". It's one of the best books on the theories of composition. I suggest reading as many books on composition and the elements of design as you can. you can only benefit! Keep shooting with your phone, but yeah, dont get all excited about the effects and hipstamatic apps. Post processing has it's place, but learn to take a good picture first. It looks like you know the Rule of Thirds already, so that's one step ahead!
