Portrait of a Girl: Need Advice Please!!

Hey guys, I'm trying to get better at photoshop and was editing this photo I took of one of my friends at Rubicon springs. I made several edits, and I was wondering if you guys could give me some advice on which one you think is the best, or what I should have done, or what I could do in the future. Thanks!!

To me I think you should of gotten her entire head in the picture. As for the edits V4 i think is the best the others all feel too washed out and over exposed. The knees in the picture don't help either it feel a bit too clustered..

Yeah, the whole head would have been nice. She was exceptionally shy and unsmiling, however, so this photo was an absolute gem. I was quite lucky to get it at all. =P

The red across her nose is really unsightly. You should be able to remove that in PP. The edits actually make it look worse than in the original

I like the original one. If you could get a reflector to bounce the sunshine towards her face a little bit would be nicer.

First, lighten the areas that are too dark, then darken the areas that are too light.

You can't fix a picture with different exposure problems with any global remedy.

I also like the second as it has a film-tone to it.
