Yes, she is. We joke that when they are teenagers, Maddy will be in her room smoking weed, trying to save the whales, and Morgan will be the one sneaking out her window in the middle of the night.

Definitely much improved, but still a bit warm on my monitor.

Double dot eyes. Is it just me or is the a minor thing to adjust. You children are adorable, and you photograph them well. Ed

The reds. While I agree they are too much, I don't think the ones you edited look any better.

Great captures and beautiful smiles, that's good. But I'm not sold on the lighting, maybe try key/fill setup. It just comes across as a bit flat. Their features are getting lost because you're removing all the shadows from the face. I'd rather see them done with 1 key light and 1 bg light if anything so the BG really pops red.

Also, judging by the size of the catchlights it appears you could get them to move closer to the lights. Not only would this improve the look of the catchlights, but it would brighten the light on their hair/bows and give you room away from the BG so it can fall more out of focus. Also on this note, is there any way you can brighten the room you are taking pictures in? Their eyes are fairly diolated due to the dark surroundings.

I'd also suggest taking a step back, or zooming out next time you try these. You can always crop in later digitally, and I think these are all a bit too tight for my preference.

and finally I think they are under-exposed a bit. I'd try to brigthen them to make the eyes whiter and maybe brigthen the shadows to bring out the details in the clothing/hair.

Did you add the catchlights in post? Something is off about them.

I agree with being underexposed and too tight.

and on a personal opinion, since they are portraits and not more relaxed or candid, Id whiten their teeth just a tiny bit.

There are two umbrella lights to the right and left of them. I was practicing with these lights.
