Postprocessing photos of a middle aged lady

Hi,

I photographed a middle aged lady and I need advice on how to post process the shot.
I have one sample image without any editing for you here to get an idea:

I would need advice on HOW and WHAT to change on the photo. Especially regarding her skin. I want to look the photo natural.

IMO, her skin is underexposed and the background is way too bright.
The camera and her face should be a little higher so her jaw line will be clean and it won't have that fullness underneath the chin.
A tiny bit of smoothing of the skin and she'll look even better than she does already.
