Prepping for the car show

Our community has but one car show every year. This past weekend was it and I arrived shortly after the gates were opened. I got this guy preparing his custom car for the show and judges. It rained the night before and threatened rain all day, but it turned out to be a nice day. Please share your C&C.

As I glided around the grounds, watching all the last-minute primping and polishing, I couldn't help but see it as a kind of eroticism. These guys were doing a lot of caressing. Then I wondered... do they mostly ignore them until the next big social event? Will the only other time they show some caring is when someone accidentally brushes up against them or they perceive some insult toward their "babes" in conversation?

Shameful! I vow never to go to another car show. Well, until "Hot August Nights" in Reno.
