Printing digital prints

I've been printing pictures from my digital camera at a local photo shop that has a Fuji printer that prints on regular photographic paper. Is it using LEDs to expose the paper or is it actually using ink? I tried asking the owner Dave@Dads1hourphoto.com however he isn't familiar with the technical aspects of the printer. Does anyone happen to know?

It could be the pictrography printer that Fuji makes. I'm not sure how it prints. But of all the online places you can get your digital prints done the labs that use the Fuji are rated better.

does anyone else find having prints from digital fairly pricey?
i havent had any printed yet at an actual developer's because of the cost!
