Pro or non-pro?

Surely if a professional chose to stay with DX? He would choose a D300S for the multiple options, build quality and weather sealing. Are you all saying you can only have a professional Camera if you use 'FX'??

One of the busiest full time photographers around here uses a pair of D200's and some decent glass. It's not always about having the latest and greatest stuff, but more about what gets the job done and puts dinner on the table.
