Just wanted some feedback on my beginners product shots...

First one I didn't know what it was right off the bat. Could be me though but took me a bit to notice it was a tea cup. I think the reflection is too distracting or overwhelming in it. I also see in both where your background (paper?) meets the foreground (mirror or glass).

Thanks for the comment! To be honest I didn't expect it was gonna be hard to see it was a cup but it's good to know for sure.
The reason you see the transition in backgrounds is that I don't have Photoshop and just recently got Aperture but am still getting familiar with it. I'm definitely what you would call a beginner lol
