Promising start of 26 December

This looks like it is not going to be a grey day for a change:

Spontaneously taken half an hour ago.
Nothing special, just a change from the grey and drab and wet and ugly...

AND guess what: now at almost 12 (noon) the sun is STILL out and shining like crazy!!! And the weathermen say it is going to STAY this bright! Yay!

That was about the last moment I could take it ... the sun was beginning to become too bright even then for me to point the lens at it (it is quite underexposed, I meant to do this) and I had a black spot in my vision for some time after this .

lucky, still dull and grey over here :-(

love those colours around the trees where the sun is, I'm guessing thats the sun as I haven't seen it for what seems like months

it is snowing here...first real snowfall....i hate winter!!!!!!
