PSE 5

I am using PSE 5 and am very new at it. I like very much and am learning loads on my own, but I have a question for you all. Is there a way for me to set a watermark for the fial edit of my pics, or male a transparent layer to add to them. I tried the transparent way and for some reason it drops the sig in the middle of the pic no matter how I resize both layers. Thanks for any help or a point in the direction of a good tutorial. Jeremy
