Purple Dress at Sunset

So I really like the setting I had here, and I think the purple dress works well, and of course the model is lovely. I do see some areas that could use improvement, and I do think there's probably some editing I can do here to make them pop a little more (like #5), but I'd like to hear your thoughts! C&C appreciated!

Too much purple imo and the lens flares are not working for me. Purple haze. My eyes are drawn way too much to the blown out parts of each picture. When I focus back on her face, I see purple again.

Looks like it was a nice sunset that could have been used better.

I think 3 is my favorite here. That's a cracking model but I think your posing needs work and I'd clone out the flare on her dress.

Apprehension in the eyes of a model is usually a huge no no. If you see merit in that look there has to be an explainable reason. If not, you're on an island.

No it's not that bad, largely because that's a really pretty model. In every shot she does look a bit scared and the flare clashes too much with the dress, it looks odd.

Apprehension in the eyes of a model is usually a huge no no. If you see merit in that look there has to be an explainable reason. If not, you're on an island.

I dunno, it's kinda like an un-attached, other worldly look. I just like it.

She's lovely but looks uncomfortable and awkward. The flare caused a bright reddish pink spot smack in the middle of her uh, hip (to say it nicely for her sake), on her leg, on her arm in more than one shot. I like the idea of the setting and the background.

She doesn't seem scared to me. I think she just needs to "work" her eyes more. She has the big doe eyes in all of these, but her mouth makes it look like she's trying to be 'fierce.' She needs to show that fierceness in her eyes.

I actually sort of like the last one. It does seem like she's running away from something in it, but at the same time, it's different than all those yeah look how sexy I am shots.

Just get more life in those eyes.

#2, the full length, has the least apprehensive/least worried expression, mainly because of the lips/mouth posture. I do not get the vibe that it is genuine apprehension, but rather just really her inexperienced at modeling coming to the fore...a case of her trying too hard to project an emotion that she has in her mind, but alas--one that just does not read well. Her eyes appear unnaturally opened and BIG! in the majority of these, which is sort of an "alarm! alarm!" cue. My guess, and it is only a guess, is that she was trying to project aloofness or cool detachment...this is the difference between a good, experienced model or actress, and a person who has no background in modeling or acting. Or the difference between a good model and a poor model. But then, she is a member of the new "ducklips selfie!!! let's take a selfie" generation, where girls have been taught that a goofy ducklips expression is...sexy?

WARMTH. ADD WARMTH.

A few thoughts:
When fooling around I really wanted to lower the exposure on the bg, but that made the girl too under. This could have really used a reflector to throw the sun back on her face/body. This could have also reduced the overall exposure at the same time, leading to a much more dramatic sky.
Image seems really soft. I couldn't really sharpen it with such a low-res/small image. It's begging for it.
