Question about installing cinestyle for video.

I want to install cinestyle on my Canon DSLR, to get more dynamic range. However, all the tutorials don't mention a problem I am having when trying to install it. Every tutorial says that when you upload cinestyle to your camera, to make sure that the camera is in 'Manual' mode. But when I do this, after it's installed, I can only use cinestyle to take stills with. It is not a video option. I tried uploading it with the camera set to video instead of manual but that will not work either, and I cannot find any instructions on how to get it to function on video mode. I thought I was using cinestyle before on a previous post, but it turns out, the camera was just using the original User Def 1, and cinestyle went to Manual mode only. Any help will be great!
