Question for the photoshop gurus.

If the link doesn't show correctly please let me know. It looks funny but I am signed in to facebook so that maybe the routing issue.

I can't see anything Facebook related from here :(

it took me to my homepage......repost the link correctly if possible.

It worked for me but I have no idea so I can't help! Sorry.

Ok, I can see the B&W portrait on the FB page. What exactly are your questions?

I know it has texture layers but I am wondering about the double frame thingy, I am seeing it a lot out my way and would just like to know the name so I can search tutorials.

were you talking about the big frame with blurred color of the background? Or just the solid color? I have enough files to keep track already. I mean are you really going to print the photo that way including the frames?

Yes the frame within a frame, and yes its really trendy right now. That image you saw just took some award at our image salon convention and another alberta photographer i know has the same thing what won another award. So I want to play lol.

Ah, my phone wont view that site. I know that OnOne phototools has a few frame presets like describe and is also a very useful program for film emulation and other adjustments like portraits. Might wanna check it out. Since I cant actually see it, thats the most help I can be haha.

Doesn't seem like it would be too hard to create in Photoshop.

One way would just be to create the rectangle shapes/layers and stack them. To create the line of the inner frame...it's just a layer below that is slightly larger than the one on top.
You can blur or alter any of the layers to get specific effects that you might want.

There are probably more elegant ways to do it, but I'll leave that to the gurus.

Eeep, I don't think we can post someone else's picture. Sorry but I don't want you to get in ****, thanks for showing it though. I appreciate it. I will have to play around and see if I can find a tutorial.
