no. if i did i would be buying myself one to and wear it.
i thought you had a Nikon? aren't these supposed to be weather proof? i had my 7100 in the rain, it still works.

Nothing is rain-proof; the better bodies and lenses are more rain-resistant thn consumer-grade bodies, but none are rain-proof!

Cameras are only weather resistant - barring a few specialist ones only Pentax has a DSLR that is made to be fully weathersealed.

As a result whilst they can shrug off a lot of torment they are not a 100% seal so having a cover helps a lot. It also means that hte camera stays dry so you can control it easily without having your fingers slipping (or getting soaked and very cold).

I use an OPTech rain sleeve - its cheap and works but isn't very durable.

I own this. It's pretty good. Amazon.com : Aquatech Sport Shield 300 Rain Cover - Unit : Photographic Equipment Rain Covers : Camera & Photo

In Oregon, it rains. A LOT. This one is expensive, but it fits a significantly larger, longer lens, like a 300/2.8 or 200/2; they have a "standard" model for shorter lenses and the cost is much lower, like $79 or so. The Aqua-Tech also uses a camera-specific eyepiece ring that keeps the rain cover secure, so it doesn't slop around and block the viewfinder eyepiece. this is the kind of camera/lens raingear designed for a 2- to 3-hour event in real,actual rain.
