Aren't these exact photos in another thread?

#1 is pleasing to the eye. I like the color contrast and the interest that the space between the boards provides. The yellow looks a touch overexposed to me, but it could be because it's a smaller image.

#2 Simple I like, but with a very soft out of focus background, I like to see silky smooth. Here I see some noise, either from your 640 ISO, or jpg compression, or low bit depth. It could be quite easily fixed with some post work.

#3 The base photograph has some clipping, mostly on the bottom petal. The composition is pleasing. I'm torn about the post processing texturing. It does make the image look nicer, but I think it also might become a crutch to lean on when the photograph is not strong.

They are Rebecca. The pics in the first thread were thumbnail size, so I had been asked to make the pictures larger so that I may get more critiques.

Thanks for the critique bazooka. I did use texturing in the last pic because the day that pic was taken, the sun was super bright, it was 100 degrees and it was (gasp) 1:00 in the afternoon (not the best time to take pics) and so the reflection on the petals caused the pic to look WAY overexposed. I liked the texture in the pic and it helped to darken the petal a little too.

In that situation, you can use a white piece of paper to reflect the light into the shadows to bring the entire scene into the dynamic range so you don't lose any highlights by properly exposing the shadows, or get noisy and low-detail shadows by properly exposing the highlights. Don't get me wrong, I think the texture helps the photo, but I would prefer a better exposed photo.
