You caught a good moment and captured it pretty well. I think it's a good thing that the ball in the corner doesn't show up too much. As to how to process photos like this it's sort of depends on the scene. There really isn't too much detailed information that we need to see in this particular shot. This type of photo was originally referred to as contre Jour in French meaning against the light or toward the light. If you look that up on Google Images you'll find lots of similar photos to yours. I find this type of photo very evocative and it leads one to create a little story about the image comma within one's own mind. The easiest processing will be done on a raw file not a jpeg
