? re: Ricohflex III TLR

Just picked this up on ebay ( where else? ). I'm kinda figuring it out and I downloaded one manual. I still have a question though. Just off the focusing lens, at the top of the aperture slide is a threaded post with two small prongs. Am I correct in assuming this is for a flash attachment ? If I'm wrong what is it ? Thanks for all the help, as usual. BAK.
