So I have honestly no idea what I was going for here but I saw a green apple in the fridge and there was this bright red serving platter on the counter and for some reason it just clicked in my head. Now I was strapped for time as I had somewheres to be and I was losing window light fast so I set this up very quickly and used my Nikon D610 + 70-200 f/4 VR and the 50 1.8G for these two shots.

I guess I really liked the color combination, they just worked well together.

It's really funny how random things sometimes just click in your mind for a photo.

No need for a super harsh critique, just wanted to share.

You have rediscovered what Sir Isaac Newton, found back in the 1600's, one of the most prominent of all, Primary- Secondary Complimentary Pairs. Nice catch.
