Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
So we had two photo booths at the school dance (Canon EOS Rebel T3i, Nikon D3000) and one of the cameras card crashed and lost most of the shots. About 40 kids get refunds and no pictures. I had the camera routed through my Macbook Pro using Canon software to display the pics after each shot on a monitor so the kids could view what they were going to get. This was not live view. It was only display after each shot.

Is there a way to save to both the camera card and a hard drive or computer so that I have a realtime backup after each shot without having to download each time? Sorry I am a noob.

You probably only had it set to Display the images, and not to write them to the local drive...

What software are you using to acquire the images? Many "tethering" applications allow you to capture images such that the images are BOTH written to the cameras memory card AND copied to the computer's local hard drive.
