A little known fact, most of Maine tilts slightly to the right.

Are the rocks below accessible? Might look really nice from a lower/more-sea-level angle. That way, you'd be in the WAY of the other photogs, and have a unique perspective

Well everything is access able it just depends how determined you are.

There is a fence but if you go during off season you can hop it.

I jumped it when I went this spring, nobody said a thing. A few other photographers joined me as it got closer to sunset too

Nice one. I was there on a bright, sunny day so nothing dramatic. I did scramble down to the water, but on the other side of the lighthouse.

Nice! You and I stood on literally the same spot couple years apart. Maine is one of my favorite states on the east coast... My wife and I are considering the Maine coast for retirement.
