River Otter

Was out for a little bit this afternoon and happened to see this unusual ( for me, anyway ) creature. I know they are about and have seen them once before at this location, but it's still a rare occurrence for me.

Thanks, Jeff. Yeah, it was herding fish in one of the ponds at a local wildlife sanctuary and swam up to the submerged log you can see to it’s right to see what I was.

Thanks, all. It was tough getting shots because the auto focus quit working on my long lens. Nothing like trying to manually focus on a moving object
