I don't know if this is in the correct forum. Today I had to put to rest four-legged family member. A best friend and I love dearly, Harley is a Guinea Pig that we rescued from a foam ice chest in front of Petco or more like he rescued Use. He loved to cuddle, and have his picture taken. I could put him in any pose and he would stay there. He was more than a piggies to us. We love him just as we love our son. We are hurting so much. This is some of his pics.

Please, post your nonhuman family members to support a love of an animal.

Sorry ...I have had 5 Guinea pigs over the years and it is so amazing how attached you can become.. They are special sweet animals.

Thank you so much. You kind words are welcoming!

It's always a sad day when you must say goodbye to a dear and trusted friend.

To all those who have never known the unconditional love of a pet: You have my pity.

It is always so sad when we have to say goodbye! But it looks and sounds like Harley had a great piggie life with you. :)

Here are my puppies...

Every life should have nine cats.

I'm on Nos. 8 and 9 right now. Shelter or rescue kitties all. Only 2 of my 53 years have been without a fuzzbutt around.

1. Ginger
2. Charlie
3. Colo
4. Charcoal
5. Hickory
6. Barbeque
7. Briquette
8. Chubby
9. Mittens

Sorry to hear about the loss of Harley. It's very sad when a loved pet passes away.

Here are our rescued kitties.
Silverbell was abandoned and found wandering on ice & snow and taken to a vet's office at between 4 and 8 weeks of age. We got her from the vet. She's been with us about 8 years.

Part of a stray family living in a storm drain near my wife's office building, Zoe was rescued along with her 4 siblings at about 6 weeks. Unfortunately, mom was chased off by a dog and not seen since. We've has Zoe for about 1-1/2 years.

Jasper was abandoned and found in a coworker's yard. I sent a crappy cell phone pic to my wife, whom couldn't resist those eyes. He was about 4 weeks old and had to be bottle fed. Jasper succumbed to Feline Leukemia Virus about 7 months after the second photo was taken. He had lived just over one year.

All our pets will be waiting at Rainbow Bridge and be there to greet us when we pass.

They are so cute! Thank you and everyone kinds words. It means a lot. They must give you comfort.

Thank you evryone for your so hearted feeled words. Yes, he was spoiled and well taken care of, but most of loved. I also, feel pity for those that have never felt the love of an animal. It is so easy to under estimate the importance they are in a person's life.
