So my Northern Harrier I'm sure said goodbye to me today :D right after this pic she circled up and up and up then headed west along the Lake Ontario shoreline.

Well, hopefully she heads south and ends up in my neck of the woods soon! We only get them during the winter.

Beautiful shot! I've only seen a few and never gotten anything but a far-off, barely identifiable shot of one. Hoping to change that this winter.

There are two places reasonably close to me where they are seen fairly regularly; problem is usually getting there on a regular enough basis, at the right time to find them. Hoping to find some time to spend at those spots this year. Pretty familiar with the "same days are good, others are bust" truth to bird photography!
