Scenic Lake

We recently visited some friends who have retired in a nice home on this lake in Tennessee. I took these from a slow moving pontoon boat.

I really like the last one, its a great shot. I think that tree is dead, there amoung the living and livid green of its neighbours. The refection is great in this shot as well.

Thanks for the comments - I almost didn't include the 5th picture, it didn't seem to "fit" with the others, but many have seemed to like it.

The more I look at these photo's the more I like them.

What I appreaciate is that they are not in your face photo's.....more subtle and soothing to view.

Looks like you got the exposures bang on, at least in my eye's

On the fourth shot (which I did not care for at first glance) I really dig the way the reflected clouds are framed between the small wake and land.....again very sublte
